Xuan Thanh Cement orders new line from FLSmidth

Xuan Thanh Cement has awarded FLSmidth with a DKK550m (US$82.6m) contract for a new brownfield production line at its facility in Ha Nam province, Vietnam. The 4.5Mta Phase 2 project of JSC Xuan Thanh Cement is entering its peak construction period, according to company reports. Loesche has won an order to supply two cement mills for a new line at Xuan Thanh Cement’s plant in Hà Nam in northern Vietnam. Vietnam Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has approved a proposal from the Ministry of Construction to expand capacity of the Xuan Thanh cement plant in the northern province of Ha Nam to 4.5Mta from the current 2.3Mta.
